Pfsense ACME certificate issuing with namecheap

So can you use an ACME method other than DNS? I know DNS is the only one that can give you a wildcard certificate, which is convenient for HAProxy, but can you shift to using something else? It might be more of a hassle, but you can put ACME onto your webservers directly, it integrates with apache, nginx, and others.

I’m either going to look into other ACME methods or I’m going to look into other services that will allow me to move my email forwarding/aliasing elsewhere (free?) and then move my DNS back to cloudflare.

Currently namecheap handles the forwarding/aliasing internally and adds a TXT record to the DNS entry with a HOST: @ :
v=spf1 include:spf.efwd.registrar-servers.com ~all

I’m no pro at this crap though.

switched to cloudflare for dns etc (without domain transfer)… and been working fine as far as I can tell in the short period since.
