OpenVPN Client assigned subnet address

Using 192.168.100.0/24 in the IPv4 Tunnel Network setting in OpenVPN, I was expecting my connection to be assigned an address within that subnet such as 192.168.100.2. However, when looking at the connection in pfsense dashboard, I see 192.168.100.0 being assigned to my connection from my WIndows 10 box. A route print in the Windows box shows the same information.

Do you have an idea of what I have done wrong in setting up the connection? Actually, using the OpenVPN connection from Windows the connection works fine. I have a MAC Viscosity user who connects (we both show address 192.168.100.0!!!), but her connection is not useful. She can’t get to the resources in the network that I had set up for her.
