New to OpenVPN and early attack

Hi,

Today I took the leap towards OPENVPN thanks to @LTS_Tom instructional video.

Couple of question, is it good idea to change UDP port to some thing else than 1194 and is it normal to see some attack like this ( these entry are not from my login)

|Jun 29 16:35:01 |openvpn |85400 |TLS Error: cannot locate HMAC in incoming packet from [AF_INET]192.241.204.91:44246|

|Jun 29 14:59:46 |openvpn |85400 |TLS Error: cannot locate HMAC in incoming packet from [AF_INET]185.200.118.45:51280 |

Thanks for the help.

Abhay

Anything with a public IP and open port will soon be flooded with both automated and non automated systems poking at it.

Thanks @LTS_Tom , is it good idea to change OPENVPN port from default 1194 or 1195 to some thing like 49500.

Might have less noise on it, but overall it does not matter that much.
