Looking for a suggested controller

Hey all, new to the forums here. We just ordered a new server for a client and wanted to play with XCP-NG on it before delivery. It uses the Intel vROC and has 6x 3TB U.2 SSD’s. XCP does not recognize the disks. Debian does. Any suggestions for a controller for these drives that will work with xcp would be great. It is a Gigabyte 1U server with an 800GB Kioxia CD8-V Series PCIe for boot and six MCRN 7450 MAX 3.2TB U.3 NVMe 3 for storage. Want to do raid 5 or 10 on the data drives with xcp. Looking tp possibly move this client from old VMWare 6 (new client to us) over to XCP.

Thanks
Aaron

Here are the officially supported ones:

If the system has hardware raid you could let it handle the drives and present them as one drive to XCP-nG.

Thanks Tom. The system either set for RAID or AHCI in bios is not detected by XCP. I will look at the supported controllers. Thanks for the quick reply. Looking forward to chatting based off my form submission on your website for a few projects I have with clients.

I see they sent you an email today at 11:30 AM EST, just waiting on your reply.

Can they resend? I do not see it in inbox or junk.

Yeah, it got delivered but bulk deleted this morning. Please have them resend. Sorry for the issue.

Curios, why the bulk delete? Is there something we should do so it does not get flagged?

No, in the mornings when I go through email, sometimes I click on the trash can to fast on items (or swipe right on the cell phone in email) if I do not recognize the domain name. It was my fault. Now just waiting for your schedule as I signed up for some consulting. We have projects to talk about. lol.

Also, got the drive to show up after resetting the BIOS to defaults, ignoring the Intel vROC raid.
