IP addressing - information on 203.34.17X.X as a LAN

Hi all,

I’m trying to find information on IP addresses in the 203.34.17X.X range that I have seen being used as local (private) IP addresses on the LAN of a friends Sophos router.

Doing a search the address range looks routable;
inetnum: 203.0.0.0 - 203.255.255.255
netname: APNIC-AP
descr: Asia Pacific Network Information Centre

The WAN has a different IP address of 180.150.X.X

How is it that 203.34.17X.X is being used on a the LAN side of a router?

Will this cause issue with routeing, NAT etc?

It’s a bit confusing as I’m no expert in networking.

Generally, the 203.0.0.0/8 network range is used for documentation and examples, but it can be used for private networking.
