Cannot fw update UAP

Hello all,

I’ve got one of those older Ubiquiti’s UAP. It has FW version 2.xx something. I factory reset but controller sends it on an endless update loop. Thanks for Tom’s video, I tried manually updating using SCP and SSH which has worked several times before on other APs.

I’m stuck on SCP. I get this error.
“Unable to negotiate with 192.168.1.16 port 22: no matching key exchange method found. Their offer: diffie-hellman-group1-sha1” which lead me to put the AP in TFTP mode to xfer the fw file.

However, following the instructions on the below link, I cannot connect to the AP, it simply times out.

Any recommendations are appreciated.
