Hi, thanks everyone for their help. Finally figured out the issue so thought I’d post it. Issue is when the block kicks in due to the schedule, states are not cleared and so existing open connections stay open. The way to stop internet connections on time is to have two rules. One that blocks all traffic to the pc all the time and a second allow rule above the block rule which is on a schedule of time when traffic should be allowed. Much to my kids disappointment, this combination stops all traffic on time. Thanks!

Nice. The second I block my kids access they came straight to me and said "Dad what did you do " … I do have to admit I laugh a little inside…
